| Detailed Narrative Description of Project | The aim of the survey was to identify problems and needs of Water Users Associations (WUAs) when executing their’ duties. |
| Detailed Narrative Description of Services provided | The specific objectives of this assessment were: - To establish the relevant set of rules and regulations for the work of WUAs in performing their duties. - To delineate responsibilities of WUAs and other local self-governing bodies. - To determine the spheres and degree of cooperation between WUAs and local self-governing bodies, members of WUAs and other communities. - To determine barriers (both formal and informal) for effective, transparent, and indiscriminate provision of services by WUAs in the regions. - Was prepared a comprehensive review of performance barriers, including but not limited to government policies, financial means (sources of income), security issues, lack of skills etc. |
