Detailed Narrative Description of ProjectThe objective of this feasibility study was to determine technical and economic feasibility of constructing a new 400 km, 500kV power transmission line from Datka 500kV substation in the southwest part of Kyrgyzstan to a new 500/220kV substation Kemin near Kazakhstan border in north-east Kyrgyztsan.
Detailed Narrative Description of Services providedWorking under the direction of the Project Team Leader or his Designate, each of the experts worked with their respective international experts in the following areas:
Data collection
Data analysis
Representing the international expert in the absence of the international expert
Preparation of reports in English and the national languages, to the extent feasible
Interfacing with counterparts in their respective countries
Provide translation during the meetings with local officials and
Setting up and maintaining of the local office space to be allocated by each of the respective utilities. This would include involvement in the procurement of equipment to equip the office. SNC-Lavalin pays the cost of the purchase of equipment and supplies to maintain the office.
