Detailed Narrative Description of Project	The principal objective of the Project was to complete rehabilitation of the road between Talas, Taraz and Suusamyr. The CAIConsulting in consortium with TEAM International ascertained the technical viability, economic feasibility and environmental and social soundness for rehabilitating the road as well as supervision of the road construction. Provided assistance in engineering design and contract documentation. Consortium reviewed the ongoing transport sector policy reform and institutional strengthening initiatives undertaken by the Government and developed a new policy agenda to provide the basis for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sector.
Detailed Narrative Description of Services provided	- Review the existing transport sector policy and developed further recommendations on strengthening the policy in transport sector of the Republic; - Review and developed the economic feasibility study for rehabilitating the Talas- Taraz - Suusamyr road; - Develop and provide the final report to the Ministry of Transport and Communication. - Supervision of the road construction and monitoring of quality aspects.
