Detailed Narrative Description of Project	The project\'s main objective was the development of the Public Revenue Agency (and in particular to establishment of the appropriate IT support and the provision of the necessary skills and knowledge to the PRA organization), which included development of: - Data Processing and Communication; - Countrywide Communication System; - Computing centre and of an in-house mass printing facility; - Trainings: i) general IT training (staff are not IT aware); (ii) designed compliance software and (iii) general tax compliance, indicators and financial statement examination (New Accounting Act). The current lack of IT policies and standards may became an on-going concern for the Public Revenue Agency, while its IT division was increasingly responsible for the development of internal and external systems, the implementation of projects and the procurement of equipment for regional Centers and local tax offices.
Detailed Narrative Description of Services provided	- Assist to the procurement and supply of Technical Components: installation and training, as appropriate, of technical IT components, mainly hardware, system software and specific components of the data communication infrastructure; - Delivery of Technical Assistance: preparation and execution of the training of the Public Revenue Agency staff in the main taxation disciplines & general computer literacy, and the provision of analysis, recommendations and reports; Project Management and administration: including the necessary quality assurance and reporting on the project progress.
