CAIConsulting in consortium with TES-Centre organized a Farmer’s Day under the WB project Additional Financing of the Project “Comprehensive Increase in Productivity of the Dairy Sector”
On November 16, 2023, the Farmer’s Day was organized in the honor of the successful completion of two training cycles to be held in the Kyzyl-Suu village of Jeti-Oguz district as a part of the project WB Additional Financing of the Project “Comprehensive Increase in Productivity of the Dairy Sector”.
The farmers from 5 districts of the Issyk-Kul region who were trained in the first and second cycles of the project were invited to the event. The authorized representative PPP of the Kyrgyz Republic of the Issyk-Kul region, a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, the head of the district state administration of the Issyk-Kul region and representatives of dairy enterprises were also invited as guests.
As a part of the Farmer’s Day, an agricultural exhibition was organized where everyone could get acquainted with the dairy products such as “Ak-Zhalga”, “Ak-Bulak” and “Ala-Too Sut”, that cooperate with farmers of the Issyk-Kul region.This event provided an opportunity for agricultural and veterinary suppliers of seeds and seed materials, fertilizers, concentrated feed, food additives, agricultural machinery and equipment to demonstrate their products. The following representatives of agro-industrial sector attended the demonstration of agricultural products and equipment “Dogal”, “Shchelkovo Agrokhim”, “Agrovetasia”, “Techno Mash”, “Salem Agro” and “Meovit”.
The CAIConsulting consortium and TES-Centre prepared stations on feed production, livestock breeding and artificial insemination, where everyone could get consultations from project experts on interested issues.One of the main objectives of this event was to present certificates to the farmers who completed the training as part of the project and demonstrated their success through the active involvement and high attendance of the trainings.
In addition to the official part and the exhibitio of the Farmer's Day Program, a visit and opening of a demonstration farm was also organized in the village of An-Oston, Jeti-Oguz district that was constructed on the ground of financial support of the Center for Agribusiness Competitiveness and the World Bank, and consulting assistance of experts under the consortium of CAIConsulting and TES-Centre.
