CAIConsulting implemented the World Bank project "Integrated Forest Ecosystem Management in the Kyrgyz Republic"
CAIConsulting's Research and Development Department implemented the World Bank's Integrated Forest Ecosystem Management (IFEM) final evaluation project for the Kyrgyz Republic from May to October 2022, which ran from 2017 to 2022. The main objectives of the study were to assess the achievement of outputs and outcomes, assess the effectiveness of the project in terms of its environmental, social and economic impacts, and analyse the impact of the investment sub-projects and micro-projects that received funding under the project. The evaluation of the IFEM project includes performance against expected results and identifies existing problems, lessons learned and recommendations for further development of the forest sector and sustainable management of natural resources.
