On December 14, 2017, the "Dostuk" Hotel hosted a Round Table on the results of the completion of the World Bank's project "Educational Standards for Primary Schools", implemented by CAIConsulting in a consortium with the German company GOPA. At this Roundtable, CAIConsulting informed about the main results of the project, the issues of achieving the main indicators of the project were considered. As guests of honor of the Round Table were invited: Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic - Salidin Kaldybaev, Vice President of the Kyrgyz Academy of Education - Toktamametov Almazbek Datkabekovich, representatives of the Republican Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Pedagogical Workers of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as experts, trainers of the project, representatives of the consortium implementing this project.
Key project experts informed the Round Table participants about new educational standards, new perspectives in education, discussed the issues of ensuring the sustainability of trainings for teachers in the future. At the end of the round table, national trainers were awarded certificates confirming their qualifications for training in the state educational standards in the primary school, as well as letters of gratitude to the international and national experts of the project.
In the framework of the World Bank's project "Educational Standards for Primary Schools", which was implemented by CAIConsulting from November 2015 to December 2017, a total of 11,789 primary school teachers and deputy principals of schools for the academic part were trained throughout the country. The training program was aimed at understanding teachers 'tasks of school education at the present stage, teaching state normative educational documents of an elementary school, as well as improving teachers' skills in organizing a person-oriented learning environment. Primary school teachers were able to learn the pedagogical technologies and methods that form the competence of the students, and have improved their skills in assessing the educational process and the results of student learning.
