In January 2024, CAIConsulting held a series of trainings under the World Bank project “Education for the Future”

At the beginning of January 2024, CAIConsulting conducted another series of trainings for primary school teachers under the program of the World Bank project “Innovative pedagogical technologies in primary schools” as well as the trainings for teachers of mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology and geography under the “ Innovative pedagogical technologies and the basics of STEM education” program. In the course of the trainings, teachers of primary, middle and high schools were able to familiarize themselves with the modern world challenges in the field of education and the State Educational Standards of the Kyrgyz Republic. The master trainers worked with the participants on the topic of subject standards and paid much attention to changes in the requirements for the methodology and learning outcomes. During the 4-day trainings, teachers of mathematics, chemistry, physics, biologists, and geography saw the possibilities of implementing the STEM approach for middle and high school students, studied the practices of using the STEM approach in education, as well as STEM technologies in the project and research activities of students. The training participants paid special attention to interdisciplinary connections as the basis of STEM education. The teachers gave many practical recommendations for integration of STEM approach in Kyrgyzstan.
