Detailed Narrative Description of Project

The overall objective of the assignment was to undertake a Feasibility Study for rehabilitation/upgrade of the existing district heating distribution system in the City so that it can provide environmentally friendly, cost-efficient heat supply and to enable the Bank to appraise a bankable project for the prospective loan.

Detailed Narrative Description of Services provided

The scope is as follows:

We will prepare a comprehensive feasibility study to determine a priority investment programme (the “PIP”) developed from a long-term investment strategy, and evaluate its benefits, including assessing its environmental and social feasibility. In order to meet the objectives above, The team will undertake the following tasks:

-           Baseline study;

-           Definition of the Project;

-           Long-term investment strategy;

-           Priority investment programme (PIP);

-           Financial and economic analysis;

-           Potential for carbon trade;

-           Environmental and social assessment.
