Detailed Narrative Description of ProjectFighting impunity and promoting international justice in particular through support for the work of the international tribunals and the establishment and operation of the international criminal court through:
- Awareness-raising and lobbying activities by NGOs, including networks of NGOs designed to increase support for the ICC, especially in geographical areas where the number of ratifications is low;
- Assistance to developing implementing legislation at national level;Provision of training (including research and the development of publications ), to national judges, parliamentarians, lawyers, prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, other officials at national level, media, students) about activities of the ICC.
Detailed Narrative Description of Services providedCAICO is organization associated with a project if it played a supporting role in the implementation of a project and did not benefit financially from this involvement. In general, the aim of including an Associated Organisation in a project was to increase the credibility or sustainability of the project. For example, a project concerned with the training of judges, prosecutors and law enforcement officials in a particular country might well benefit from the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Justice, or from the advice of experts from a relevant international organisation.
