CAIConsulting has launched the ARIS project "Support for Local Communities in the Kyrgyz Republic CASA-1000"

   In June of this year, CAIConsulting launched the ARIS project, within the framework of which a baseline study will be carried out on the project "Support to local communities in the Kyrgyz Republic CASA-1000". The baseline survey will take place both in villages within the Power Line (Power Lines) Impact Corridor and in villages outside the CASA-1000 Power Line. In total, over 4500 rural residents in Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions will be interviewed. The data obtained will be used to assess the progress and results of the project. The company works closely with Duke University, whose specialists develop research methodology and tools.

   Project Information: Central Asia and South Asia Electricity Transmission and Trade Project (CASA1000) aims to establish commercial and institutional arrangements and infrastructure for the transmission of approximately 1,300 megawatts of electricity from the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan to Afghanistan and Pakistan.
