During the COVID-19 pandemic, CAIConsulting organized and conducted the first distance trainings for farmers in the Kyrgyz Republic

The coronavirus infection COVID-19’s high rate of spread led to the fact that a pandemic was declared by the World Health Organization on March 11, 2020. In order to ensure the safety of the population and prevent mass infections, our company, having previously agreed with the Agribusiness Competitiveness Center, has suspended all ongoing trainings.

CAIConsulting and the Agribusiness Competitiveness Center have decided to conduct distance (online) trainings for farmers to continue their training. The trainers prepared videos, handouts and detailed illustrations. Distance trainings via the WhatsApp® mobile application started on April 20, 2020 due to the combined efforts of our entire team. CAIConsulting has developed and opened a channel on video hosting "YouTube" for more convenient access to video materials. A channel called “IDPIP ABCC” allows farmers to review and reinforce the material provided, thereby increasing knowledge.

We not only conducted the first online trainings for farmers in the Kyrgyz Republic, but also increased their involvement in the process. Thus, during a pandemic that stopped all processes in the world for a certain period, we were able to create new opportunities for us and for farmers.
